KOSTKut Cool 230

The KOSTKut Cool 230 is a high performance, oil-rejecting synthetic coolant formulated for use in the most severe ferrous and nonferrous machining operations. This would include cast iron, steels, stainless, and non ferrous materials. It is also suitable for use as a grinding fluid. It has been designed to outperform EP-fortified soluble oils and semi-synthetics in most applications. The transparent color allows for easy visibility of the work piece. In fact, the chemical composition, which provides its tramp oil rejection property, makes KOSTKut Cool 230 incompatible with such materials. This product incorporates an effective corrosion inhibition package that has shown protection in the “Cast Iron Rust Chip Test.” KOSTKut Cool 230 low foaming tendency, even in very soft water, reduces the tendency to dropout fines on machine surfaces and facilitates proper cooling. The hard water stability has been exhibited in water as hard as 600 ppm hardness.
