The KOSTKut Cool 220 is an oil-rejecting synthetic coolant formulated for use in wide range of machining operations and metals. This would include cast iron, steels, stainless, and non ferrous materials. It is also suitable for use as a grinding fluid. The transparent color allows for easy visibility of the work piece. KOSTKut Cool 220 has been engineered with no DEA, chlorinated, sulfurized, or phosphorus containing additives. It has also been fortified with a highly effective bactericide/fungicide package to fortify against microorganism attack. This product incorporates an effective corrosion inhibition package that has shown protection in the “Cast Iron Rust Chip Test” as low as 33:1 dilutions. KOSTKut Cool 220 low foaming tendency reduces the tendency to dropout fines on machine surfaces and facilitates proper cooling. The natural detergency keeps machines cleaner, as well as grinding wheels free from build up to promote more efficient operation and heat removal. The hard water stability has been exhibited in water as hard as 600 ppm hardness.
