KOSTKut Cool 120

The KOSTKut Cool 120 is a semi-synthetic water miscible coolant concentrate that forms translucent, clear emulsions when mixed with water. Its good lubricity, rust protection, wetting agents, high detergency and added extreme pressure (EP) fortification makes it useful as a moderate to highly severe duty micro-emulsion metalworking fluid. KOSTKut Cool 120 has been engineered without DEA, nitrite, nitrate, phenol and chlorine components to provide a more environmental compliant product. It may be utilized on a wide variety of moderate to severe machining and some grinding operations. It is suitable to use KOSTKut Cool 120 for forged and cast ferrous metals, many stainless steels, as well as many non-ferrous grades. It will not stain most extruded and cast aluminum grades under normal operating conditions.

KOSTKut Cool 120 has been engineered with components that have a minimal nutrient source for microbial growth. This beneficial feature greatly prolongs sump life, virtually eliminates tank side addition of supplemental biocides and reduces tendencies for Monday morning odors, making KOSTKut Cool 120 excellent for central coolant systems. This feature is best maintained at concentrations above 30:1 or about 3%. In summary, it ultimately reduces fluid inventory and waste disposal.
