KOSTGard® AP Gear Oils

KOSTGard AP Gear Oilsutilize a superior extreme pressure, thermally stable, clean gear technology blended with a premium quality base stock to meet the performance demands for on and off highway automotive and commercial gears and transmissions calling for API GL-5/ MT-1 performance. This balance of components provides superior gear protection with improved corrosion and foam inhibitors, pour point depressants, and maximum sludge build up resistance for cleaner gear sets. KOSTGard AP Gear Oils viscosity characteristics ensure good performance when used in equipment operating over a broad range of ambient temperatures. This means good cold flow properties for gear protection at lower start up temperatures.

KOSTGard AP Gear Oils are recommended for use in spiral bevel and hypoid differentials and oil lubricated steering axle wheel bearings. They are designed for complete refill and make-up of all passenger car, light duty and heavy-duty truck transmissions, conventional differentials and steering gears.
